DVD Roundup!
Last year saw the release of Seasons 7 and 8, and 9 if you happen to live in Germany or Sweden, but the wait is nearly over for British fans as the ninth and final addition is slated for release at the end of the month.
Also dropping on the 28th is the S1-9 Collection, but there’s no word if either will contain the two specials.
Hopefully CBS will now draw their attention to The Colby’s and complete the set.
It’s just so good! People love happy endings, but it’s at its best when Alexis triumphs over those do-gooders, if only temporarily in this case.
Please do! I’ve been meaning to experience it all again myself, but there never seems to be enough hours in the day. The more Dynasty content on Tumblr, the better.
Another favourite episode of mine would be from S8, I think. I can’t recall the title, but it features a brilliant scene with Joan and Stephanie sparring at The Carlton. They certainly don’t make shows like they used to, do they?

My favourite episode would probably have to be the S6 finalé, ‘The Vendetta’. Watching Alexis take over and turf Blake and Krystle out of the mansion fills me with glee every time I see it. All while looking so chic and immaculate, too.

Season 8 Release
Great news for UK fans! Amazon is listing the Season 8 DVDs for release this summer. The exact details haven’t yet been announced, but it seems they’ll get a release on June 30th. They should see a Region 2 release in Sweden at the beginning of August too. While not currently available for pre-order, you can sign up for alerts as to when they’ll become available.
There’s still no talk of The Colby’s making it to DVD, sadly, but I’ll be sure you keep you informed if I hear of anything.
I also offer my apologies once again for the lack of posts, but I rarely have the time to watch and screencap’ things these days. FYD has not been forgotten about though, I assure you!
